No, this is not “halang-halang”. It’s similar but instead of coconut milk, it has evaporated milk instead. Add some chili on the soup and you’re good to go!

I never thought Hito would taste this good! I finished 2 of these in minutes. I’ve tasted one before but it wasn’t fried and was probably not well prepared that’s why it had the distinctive after taste of fresh water fish. When in Davao City, you gotta try this dish.
