The VSU Amphitheatre

The VSU Amphitheatre

I had plenty of high school memories of this place. This is were we have our Monday morning flag ceremony and other high school programs. But further back, I remember this is where they used to have the Miss ViSCA pageant, now known as Miss VSU.

Sunset silhouettes by the beach of Visayas State University

I’ve always witnessed the sunset in ViSCA beach in my early years. Papa got a very nice sunset photo of this beach back when there were still kiosks in this area. I finally got a chance to take my own photos of the ViSCA Beach Sunset (VSU). I miss the place already. :)

Sepak Takraw – you don’t want to mess with these guys

A sport native to Southeast Asia, Sepak Takraw or kick volleyball is like volleyball, except that it uses a rattan ball and players are only allowed to use their feet, knee, chest and head to touch the ball. It is a popular sport in Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Laos, Philippines and Indonesia.

Below, the guy on the left tries to smash the ball into the other side while the guy on the right blocks it.
